Category Manager, Category Sales
January 2023 – June 2025

The problem

Three sport categories needed to grow across a very large account base — more than 20,000 accounts — with offerings, targeting, and assortment that fit what each region and account actually demanded.

Scope

  • P&L ownership across three sport categories
  • 20,000+ accounts
  • Cross-functional partners in Marketing, Supply Chain, and Finance

What I did

  • Built regional targeting criteria for the categories.
  • Improved and aligned the product offerings within the categories.
  • Deployed demand-signal assortment strategies across 20,000+ accounts.
  • Built a cross-functional roadmap with Marketing, Supply Chain, and Finance to synchronize promotions, inventory, and pricing.

Outcome

  • Annual portfolio revenue scaled from $37M to $49M.
  • The cross-functional roadmap reduced peak-season stockouts and improved forecast execution companywide.
