The problem

Cross-sell targeting, assortment planning, and category strategy all turn on the same question: when a customer buys an anchor product, what else do they buy, and how much revenue does that add above baseline?

Scope

  • A scalable model, built in Tableau
  • Guides cross-sell targeting, assortment planning, and category strategy

What I did

  • Built the halo-effect model in Tableau.
  • Quantified product attachment, customer purchasing patterns, and revenue above baseline.
  • Laid it out as a guided flow: choose a selling season or the trailing twelve months, review the attached product families and materials, then read the incremental revenue with revenue and profit multipliers.
  • Tracked anchor-customer movement side by side: new, repeat, reactivated, and lapsed buyers.

Outcome

  • Guides cross-sell targeting, assortment planning, and category strategy.
